I really wonder why Nokia did not think of providing a touch based lock/unlock feature in Nokia X6. There are some third party applications though which make it possible to lock/unlock your phone the Iphone way but that is mostly flash based and puts a lot of stress on the already depleted phone resources like RAM and battery.
PocketSensor Automatic Keylock is a nice application to have on your phone. It adds a very simple yet superb capability to your phone. It allows you to cover/swipe your finger over the proximity sensor and lock/unlock your phone. Since, the application does not use the front camera, the RAM and the battery usage is minimal and thus, it is light on the phone’s resources.

For those who are not aware with the term ‘proximity sensor’, it is located just beside your front VGA camera and locks/unlocks your phone when your cover it.
